Home theater subwoofers - Car Radio Installation Part 1 - Remove your existing radio

Remove the in-dash car radio is generally quick and easy. Removal and installation is carried out most of the passenger seat, if you're right. Some, but only a small number of cars, you need to dash around the radio as the radio can be removed, instead of screws.
Your first step is to remove the original radio. Pay particular attention to the individual phases, this transformation is simply a reversal of removal.
There are several radio assemblyMethods between car manufacturers. However, most factory-fitted radio or be placed in a metal sleeve (also known as cage) of two or four clips to ensure that you push inward to release the radio, or the same method, without sleeves.
For radio equipment which has one or two small round holes on both sides of the radio, you can find the standard (DIN) Radio Removal Keys for use in all car accessory shops or websites.

Some radio stations will be modified to remove four small Allen screws (with a 2 mm or 5 / 64 Allen wrench) before they can enter the keys removed. I think these are simply a safety measure.
Now press the keys slightly outward from the radio,Push in the retaining spring clip. Now pull the removal key to remove the radio. Some radios are a bit 'stubborn, but a bit' perseverance paid off.
Some factory-installed radios are available to ensure the screws on the sides of the radio is kept. This type of assembly concept is mainly on Japanese cars and these radios can be installed behind the dash surrounding the radio. Most of the radios to support a kind of backwards, but more oftenjust a push fit.
If you disconnect the radio from the sleeve, the air and the factory wiring harness connector.
If you try to be problems with the removal of radio, mounted behind the dashboard encounter ring your local dealer. Request the service and ask to speak with a technician, as they tend to advise. On the other hand, it is always possible to have a Haynes manual.
